Kayla plays both shooting and point guard positions. She has improved as a ball handler and shoots extremely well. This is her third year with the Buffalo Defenders organization. Kayla is also a High Honors student at Christian Central Academy and leads her 8th grade varsity team in scoring while also leading the team to consecutive Eastern Suburb Championships in 2008 and 2009.
